十字 ・ じゅうじ ・ juuji
Cross. A basic shape consisting of two crossed lines. The Japanese character for 10 (ten). In most designs, the crossed lines are of equal length and crossed at the center creating a plus (+) sign. The juuji shape is one of the basic kasuri patterns.
