右二つ巴紋・みぎふたつともえもん・migifutatsutomoemon | 右二つ巴家紋・migifutatsutomoekamon
A family-crest (mon or kamon) with two right-facing tomoe. Tomoe are shapes that look like large commas or tadpoles and likely represent Magatama, a type of ancient Japanese comma-shaped bead.
Variations of the mon are left-facing (左二つ巴紋) or have different numbers of tomoe. Additionally, the symbol can be enclosed in a circle (i.e. 丸に右三つ巴紋 maru-ni-migi-mitsu-tomoe-mon).
