江戸妻 ・ えどづま ・ edozuma
Another name for kurotomesode, a type of formal black kimono. A black tomesode with kamon (family crests) and an (Edo style) decoration around the lower hem. In Kanto also used instead of kurotomesode.
Originally the name referred to a formal kimono with a design diagonally placed from Front-left to right around the lower hem on a plain black background.
